Educational Objectives:
The purpose of this specialty is to provide students with relevant courses and basic training in hydraulic engineering, enabling them to work effectively in a broad field of water resources utilization, hydraulic Engineering planning, design and management. As advanced technological professionals, students should develop morally, intellectually and physically to fit the need of socialist construction with strong abilities of practice, research and development.
Objective 1:[Foundations] Cultivate students to realize basic scientific principles and methodology. Through providing practical training, enables students to understand modern water conservancy technology, to get prepared for applying foundation knowledge into professional practice.
Objective 2:[Professional Knowledge] Cultivate students to creatively use the basic principles of hydraulic engineering to solve problems in practice.
Objective 3:[Teamwork/Leadership] Cultivate students to possess the capabilities of communication, cooperation and even leadership , to have the spirit of diligence and contribution.

Based on the engineering practice, strengthen the training of skills。Taking the cultivation of innovative spirit and practical ability as the core task, improve the quality education and innovation education system. Implement general education and ecological protection education, let students become qualified engineering technical personnels with the consciousness of social responsibility and environmental protection.
