Educational Objectives:
Objective 1:[Foundations] Students have been engaged in mathematics, physics, foreign languages, computers and other basic scientific knowledge and management science, psychology, economics, humanities and social science knowledge which are required for electronic science and related engineering work. Students shall lay a solid theoretical foundation and potential comprehensive ability.
Objective 2:[Professional Knowledge] Students shall be creative in using the electronic information science and technology to solve the technical problems encountered in practice.
Objective 3:[Teamwork/Leadership] Students shall be good at communicating with others, and have a spirit of teamwork; with the ability to be leader in the field of electronic and communication engineering.
Objective 4:[Engineered Systems] Excellent engineers should have a solid professional knowledge, practical ability and basic designing capabilities; And they shall have an overall point of view of engineering from the system, with technical requirements and grasp the related methodology of systematic analysis at the same time.
Objective 5:[Societal Impact] Students shall have a clear view over the present industry condition and future trends. They shall have a clear understanding of the impact of the electronic and information technology to the national economic development and social development.
Objective 6:[Global Awareness] Students shall master the current status and future trend of the development of industry . And they can make full use of today’s technology and international platform for the development of China's electronics and information industry.

Profession Features:
Our profession has three national high-quality courses(Digital Signal Processing, RF Circuits and Antennas, Digital System Design), two National characteristic specialty (Information Engineering , IC Design and Integration of Systems),one National experimental teaching demonstration center(Electrical Information and Control Experimental Teaching Center), and three National personnel training bases(National personnel training base of integrated circuit. National training mode innovative experimental zone of professional and entrepreneurial talents in the Electronic Information, National center for engineering and practical education).Relying on the national key disciplines-Communication and Information System , the basic education of mathematics and engineering science has been strengthened and we focuses on the comprehensive training of the students' knowledge, abilities and values by comprehensive Engineering guides.
