Lecture 1: Identification and Characterization of Serovar-independent Immunogens in Actinobacillus Pleuropneumoniae

Miki is Diplomate of European College of Poultry Veterinary Science, Professor of Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, and also CEO of Bojesen and Petersen Biotech ApS. He has been Head of Section for Clinical Veterinary Microbiology, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences from 2013 to 2016, Head of Section for Microbiology, Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen from 2012 to 2/2013. He is Board member of the National Council for Antimicrobial Resistance, Ministry of Health, Denmark, Board member of the Council for Improved Hygiene, Denmark, Board member of the Danish Poultry Levy Foundation, Chairman of the Credentials committee of the European College of Veterinary Poultry Science.He obtained his PhD in Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University in 2003, and doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 2000. His research has resulted in 180 publications including 91 Peer reviewed manus, 75 Conference proceedings, 7 Popular manus, 5 Book chapters and 2 Patents. He was nominated for the Innovation prize at Copenhagen University.
Lecture 2: Using Tranomics to Elucidate the Mode of Action of Antibiotics
Speaker: Rikke Heidemann Olsen

Rikke is assosiate professor in Preventive Veterinary Microbiology, University of Copenhagen, Prof. Bojesen’s group. Her research area includes antimicrobial resistance, bacterial zoonosis, opportunistic bacterial pathogens (human and animal) and bacteria-drugs-host interactions. She obtained PhD in Department of Veterinary Disease Biology in University of Copenhagen in 2012. Her research has resulted in 30 Peer reviewed manus and 27 Conference proceedings.
