Overview

In the past 30 years of reform and opening-up, the University's external exchanges have been much lively, having set up long-term cooperative relationships in offering joint graduate programs with nearly a hundred colleges and universities worldwide, including the United States, Britain, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong and Macau. Experts, professors, and scholars from over 60 countries and areas have been invited to lecture, inspect, visit, or teach in SCUT. Over 100 renowned professors and experts have been appointed as advisor or honorary professors. Meanwhile, a large number of teachers and graduate students have been sent abroad to teach or for further study.
