Educational Objectives:
This major cultivate students to be senior talents who are comprehensive development in moral, intelligence, sports and aesthetics, adaptable, having well-knit professional and a wide range of knowledge and suitable for building socialist modernization.Objective 1:[Foundations] Cultivate students to master the basic professional principle, methods, means and other aspects of the basic knowledge, and through the contact and master the advanced method of naval architectures and ocean engineering design and manufacture, getting ready to applying the basic knowledge they have learnt to the naval architectures and ocean engineering practice.
Objective 2:[Professional Knowledge] Train students to solve the problems of shipbuilding industry by using the basic principle of naval architectures and ocean engineering creatively.

Programme Features:
This major is based on the subject of math, mechanics, naval architecture and ocean engineering and it is an engineering subject which does the design, research, manufacture, planning and management in the fields of the naval architecture and ocean engineering structure or other similar fields by using the information technology. Our objectives are: “sound grounding, strict demand, emphasize ability, strong adaptability” and we will train students to be a naval architecture and ocean engineering professionals who has innovation in thinking and practicing. .
