A SCUT’s delegation led by Vice President Zhu Min travelled to Qingdao to attend the 7th Sino-French Engineering Education Seminar from June 6 to 8.
After SCUT and the University of Nantes organized the previous six sessions of the seminar, the 7th session was hosted by the Ocean University of China, bringing together over 80 representatives from universities in China and France to share experiences and achievements they have made in engineering education and research.
The theme of this year’s event was “intelligent data processing and communication” and “the internalization of engineering education”. Vice President Zhu Min addressed a keynote speech to introduce SCUT’s experiences in student training and international collaboration.
At the round table panel, academics discussed differences between the two countries’ engineering education and the cooperation of co-training engineerers.
Also Among the delegation were faculty and staff of SCUT’s Office of Global Partnerships, the School of Electronic and Information Engineering, and the School of School of Computer Science & Engineering.
